Forth and Clyde Canal - between Speirs Locks and
Applecross Basin
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
We are planning to host a smaller canalside event later in 2021 and look forward to welcoming you back then.
To keep up to date with the festival please go to Glasgow Canal's new site.
The festival takes place along the banks of the iconic Forth & Clyde Canal, a 5-minute walk from Cowcaddens Subway station, and it brings the people of the local community together with audiences from across the wider city to enjoy the natural and urban landscape in this beautiful, heritage-rich part of the city.
Glasgow Canal Festival is produced by the Glasgow Canal Co-op, a collective of organisations on the bank of Glasgow’s Forth & Clyde Canal in the north of the city, aiming to help unlock the canal’s potential to create a vibrant area for people to live, work and visit.
